Chris - It was truly an honour to have known you. Your independence of spirit and energetic investment in everyday living were an inspiration. We enjoyed a special window into a past era of Winnipeg through your vivid recollections - so delightful and astonishing in their fullness of detail. From stories of Elm Park, the early business world of Winnipeg, and surviving the 1947 Dugald train crash, your life deserved its own book. I wish we could have been with you these last months.
